ASSIGNMENT ACTION PLANS
Phil Quirke

Remember that these action plans look at:
The teaching of the lesson
The lesson plan
The reading and research you detailed in your background assignment.

The action plan is best detailed by breaking it down into the following sections:

STRENGTHS
(Don't forget these)

WEAKNESSES
(Limit these to the changes you'd make in the lesson and the main areas which you want to work on)

WHAT I WOULD DO DIFFERENTLY
(Changes you'd make to this lesson next time you teach it)

WHAT I WOULD LIKE TO WORK ON AS A TEACHER
(Tie these into the weaknesses above)

HOW AM I GOING TO WORK ON THESE AREAS
Make sure this is a detailed action plan stating for each of the main weaknesses above:
How you will work on the area of weakness to be developed
What stages are involved in this development
How can you evaluate your development with measurable and attainable goals
All three of these points can be excellently produced by using action research as a framework.
